Ian Jarvis
Ian Jarvis is 5GHe has 30 years of experience in IT and 25 years in body therapy. Since 2011, he has been volunteering for a few months each year at a clinic in Bhopal, India, working with survivors and children of the 1984 chemical spill. His first book was: Three months in Bhopalis available on Amazon.
Since retiring in 2000, one of his interests has been the proliferation of RFR (Radio Frequency Radiation) and related “devices” in both industrial and domestic applications. He first got mobile internet in 2004 while living on a canal boat. It was like a memory stick and only allowed 250kb of data per month, whereas today it is unlimited. With his body therapy hat on, he knew this was not good for humans, or plants or animals, so a few years ago he started presenting to “deaf” audiences.
Having noticed the accelerated rollout of 5G during the lockdown, he stepped up his strategy to counter the expansion of land-based telecommunications structures without adequate consultation or testing. “We're not going to risk our existence for faster video downloads!” says Ian Jarvis.
Thanks to Sandi Adams, Eli Everyman, and Matthew Williams for their emceeing and technical support on the evening.
