Reflecting the gap between reports and reality
Contrary to the authorities' claims, the evidence presented here shows that no serious pandemic occurred in the Western Isles during the three year period claimed. In this region, as elsewhere, deaths due to the “virus”, “cases”/”infections” confirmed by unreliable PCR test results, and overall mortality were all Increased after introduction of experimental coronavirus vaccineThe idea that mitigation of infection, including mass “vaccination” campaigns, has saved lives is merely speculation. Epidemiologist Dr Ashley Croft said: COVID-19 enquiries in Scotland To write his report, he looked at the peer-reviewed evidence and made the following statement: Cochrane Report on large-scale COVID-19 vaccination by the (formerly Cochrane Community)
It is unclear whether mass vaccination has made any difference to the number of deaths from COVID-19.
…We cannot say with confidence that these vaccines prevent deaths.
These comments were ignored in the Scottish print media. Oral testimony of similar natureThe real-world data presented here and data from other health boards only support what Dr Croft has said and the findings of the Cochrane peer reviewers.
Summer 2023 Update: The hysteria over the facts continues
In July 2023, BBC reportEd Next:
A ward at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway has been closed to new admissions after being linked to several positive Covid-19 cases.
Temporary visiting restrictions were then introduced.
Visitors must make reservations in advance and wear masks.
The information presented here isteeth This article is readily available to MSPs and public health officials, such as Professor Jason Leitch, the Scottish Government's National Clinical Director, but as of 20 August 2023: BBC continuedNewIncite unjustified fear This is not a fact, it is a misrepresentation. Mr. Leach also does not seem to know anything about this data, as shown in the following statement:
On Sunday, two wards at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway reintroduced some restrictions after a “small number” of confirmed coronavirus cases were identified.
This included temporarily asking both visitors and all clinical staff to wear face masks until further notice.
So the questions I would ask are: Is the BBC reporting all the facts to hold power to account? Is its reporting balanced and fair? Claimed By Hugh Edwards?
We have two fundamental BBC news values: truth and accuracy.
If that statement were true, I personally wouldn't feel a strong need to research the data by region and write these articles.
