A malicious, known and tolerated dictatorship is bad enough in itself, but the association of democide with the UK's “democratic” government is extraordinary and deeply disturbing. For some, this idea will be incomprehensible and the immediate reaction will be “they wouldn't do that, would they?” However, the harsh reality is that “they” – our wonderful, elected UK government – have most certainly done it, and the evidence is hidden in plain sight.
