US non-profit organisation Mayo Clinic is launching a new podcast called “Tomorrow's Cure”.
The show will focus on medical innovations that are transforming health care and feature the visionaries who are making them happen.
Tomorrow's Cure is released in collaboration with PRX, a Pulitzer Prize- and Peabody Award-winning public media organization and one of the world's leading podcast distributors.
The show will be hosted by Kathy Wurtzer, a renowned announcer, journalist and author known for her work on Minnesota Public Radio's Morning Edition and Twin Cities PBS.
She will be conducting in-depth interviews with Mayo Clinic experts and industry leaders, and the episode will highlight the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and inspiring possibility.
Topics covered include 3D printed models, artificial intelligence, mixed reality and personalized medicine.
Guests included Mayo Clinic radiologist Jonathan Morris, MD, Beth Ripley, MD, deputy director of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning, Konstantinos Lazaridis, MD, gastroenterologist and Carlson Nelson Endowed Executive Director of the Center for Personalized Medicine at Mayo Clinic, and Gary Miller, PhD, associate dean for research strategy and innovation at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and director of the Exposomics Institute and Core.

The eight-episode first season of Tomorrow's Cure will premiere on June 26, with new episodes available every Wednesday on all podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music.
Each episode also includes a video element and can be viewed on Mayo Clinic's YouTube channel.
Seasons 2 and 3 are scheduled to return in early 2025.
