This year's British Podcast Awards will be presented by award-winning comedian Marcus Brigstocke.
Known for his sharp wit, Marcus has extensive experience in comedy and broadcasting and is also the co-host of the hit comedy podcast “How Was It For You?” with his wife Rachel Paris.
With a career spanning more than two decades, appearing on panel shows like QI and Mock The Week, and appearing in films like Love Actually and Magic Mike's Last Dance, Marcus has become a household name.
Marcus said: “I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting this year's UK Podcast Awards. In just a few years I've gone from not really understanding what podcasts were to now being a total podcast addict and listening to podcasts myself.”
“I'm excited to bring together the great, the wonderful, the weird and the amazing from the world of podcasting. In preparation for the event, I'll be launching a podcast where I'll be talking to myself about my time as host for seven enjoyable, unedited hours.”
The Listener's Choice category is the only UK Podcast Awards that is decided by public vote rather than by a judging panel and is open to any podcast, regardless of whether it has been entered in other categories. Voting can be done on the BPA website.
