Graham Park began his career in Nottingham record shop Selectadisc, which led to him becoming a DJ at The Garage, before becoming a regular at Manchester's famous nightclub, The Hacienda, where he rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tony Wilson, New Order, Happy Mondays and Oasis.
Graham has since become a leading figure in the UK rave and house music scene, served as a consultant on Steve Coogan's 2002 film 24 Hour Party People, and hosted hundreds of radio shows – all of which he talks about in this hour-long podcast.
This interview is a recording of a written interview that also appeared in the July issue of the magazine and on the website, and contains far more valuable content than could possibly fit in print.
With funding from Arts Council England, we will be recording some of our future LeftLion Interviews podcasts as live events. Tickets for these events are free. Find out more here.
