Sport Social has inked a new partnership between Hickory's Smokehouse and the NFL podcast, “The Nat Coombs Show.”
The show is one of the biggest National Football League podcasts ever, hosted by Nat Coombs, who has been at the forefront of NFL coverage on UK TV and radio for the past 15 years.
The partnership, which will run through the 2024/2025 NFL season, will enable American barbecue restaurant brand Hickories to tap into the loyal and engaged NFL viewers and fans.
Listeners will hear unique, targeted and engaging content from the campaign, including read-alouds by hosts, sponsored mini-episodes and a live recording of The Nat Coombs Show from Hickory’s Wilmslow restaurant.
“Once the NFL season begins, Hickories will be the place fans go to watch the game, especially on NFL Sundays, so working with The Nat Coombs Show is a powerful way to further elevate the fan experience,” said Paul Swain, director of brand partnerships for the Sports Social Podcast Network.
“We're also focused on attracting new audiences through content that demystifies the NFL and makes it more inclusive for UK fans.”
“Podcast advertising can be incredibly beneficial for brands, especially when aligned with shows that truly align with the essence and ethos of the brand, and this partnership is a perfect example of that.”
Jason Bly, Director of Hickory’s Smokehouse, explained the NFL story: “We’ve been huge NFL fans ever since we first fired up our smoker and opened our doors in Chester back in 2010.
“Over the years we've introduced barbecue and the NFL to many new fans and have enjoyed welcoming guests to join in and watch a great game and share the love, and as American Football grows in popularity in the UK our NFL Sunday and Super Bowl parties are only getting bigger and bigger.”
“We're excited to partner with The Nat Coombs Show. This will be a great opportunity for our team and loyal fans to be exposed to even more sports content and reach new audiences.”
“We can't wait to welcome listeners back to Hickories for an unforgettable experience of this high-stakes game.”
