Deloitte's award-winning podcast, “The Green Room,” has launched a new series, “Bigger Questions.”
Hosted by BBC sports commentator Andrew Cotter, the podcast is a five-part in-depth documentary series telling the stories of Olympians and Paralympians who have made an impact by achieving something extraordinary for the first time.
The series asks, “What is the power of being a first?” and features the stories of four Olympians and Paralympians – Nicola Adams, Sarah Atter, Natalie du Toit and Rose Lokonyen – who were the first to break barriers and achieve world-changing moments.
Nicola was the first female boxer to win a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Sarah was the first female runner to compete for Saudi Arabia at the Olympics. Natalie was the first amputee swimmer to compete at the Olympics. Rose was the flag bearer for the first Refugee Olympic Team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Across the five episodes, each athlete tells their own story, with additional background provided by figures including Natalie's coach, Sarah's father, a boxer inspired by Nicola, Deloitte and the IOC.
Deloitte's The Green Room is one of the UK's leading business branded podcasts, regularly ranking in the top 5 business podcasts on Spotify and Apple and is available across all podcast platforms.
