AudioUK is once again partnering with Amazon Music and Wondery on the Audio Production Awards' Pay What You Can scheme.
The scheme was first introduced in 2021 to cater to people for whom the cost of admission and awards ceremony tickets is a barrier to attending.
Chloe Straw, managing director of AudioUK, said: “AudioUK's ongoing support and partnership with Amazon Music and Wondery is key to the success of the Pay What You Can Scheme and we're delighted to be partnering again.”
“We are committed to ensuring the Audio Production Awards are open to everyone, regardless of economic status, and that the career advancement that comes with winning brings greater fairness to the industry.”
Chris Baughen, UK head of podcast content at Wondery, added: “Partnering with the Audio Production Awards for the third year in a row and supporting the Pay What You Can Scheme is a real honour for the team and me.
“We're proud to help reduce the financial barriers to a major moment of recognition for our industry, giving as many creators as possible the opportunity to participate.”
