A new podcast from two Derbyshire business founders has already featured international celebrity guests just a few weeks after its launch.
Matt Clatterham and Jenny Jarvis, founders of Derby-based brand and talent transformation agency Q Branch Consulting, have previously welcomed guests to their new Leading Baldry podcast, including former top Disney executive Ezequiel Abramzon, who was responsible for bringing blockbuster Marvel and Star Wars films to Spanish-speaking countries.
Q Branch Consulting's podcast guest list also includes Sam Schrimper, former head of talent acquisition at Barclays Bank, and international bestselling author Robert Raymond Riopelle, author of the Success Left a Clue book and podcast, who went from $150,000 in debt to financial independence in just nine months after starting out as a delivery driver for Domino's Pizza.
Other guests on the “Leading Boldly” podcast have included Chief Inspector Stewart Codling of Thames Valley Police, Michael Gladwell, founder of Derby Language School and managing director of Upbeat Clean, and local “sales nerd” Campbell MacLean.
In just six weeks, “Leading Boldly” has already achieved five-star ratings on Apple and Spotify.
Jenny said: “We're really proud of the podcast and the guests we've had so far. For example, Robert Riopelle's talk was so fascinating and shows how just changing the way you think about money can help you become financially free.”
“Robert has taken T. Harvey Aker's 'Millionaire Mind Crash Course' and is an enthusiastic advocate of everything he learned.”
Upcoming guests include Neil Smith, who co-founded the Mettle Men's Mental Fitness app with famous adventurer Bear Grylls.
Jenny added: “The aim of the Leading Boldly podcast is to create something similar to Stephen Bartlett's Diary of a CEO, but with more relatable guests.”
“His podcast is great, but sometimes it feels a little out of reach to the average person. We want to bring people the stories and narratives of people who have done what they love and are experts in whatever field they are.”
“We enjoy building relationships with our viewers and hope you'll tune in to see more great episodes in the future!”
The Leading Boldly podcast is available on Apple or Spotify.
