The finalists for the UK Podcast Awards 2024 Listeners' Choice Award have been announced.
Six candidates were selected through free public voting, which closed on August 29th.
Listeners' Choice Shortlist:
“Sexting My Boss” by William Hanson and Jordan North – Unlikely best friends William (an expert on high society etiquette) and Jordan (an expert on all things mundane) collide to answer 21st century questions and find solutions to everyday woes while helping each other navigate the challenges of modern life.
Sh**ged Married Annoyed – The only way Rosie and Chris Ramsey can talk without being interrupted by toddlers or staring at their phones is by doing a podcast. They chat about everything from life, relationships, arguments, frustrations, parenting, growing up, and more.
Sherlock & Company – Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this audio drama follows Dr John Watson as he creates a true crime podcast documenting his and Sherlock’s adventures.
ShxtsNGigs – A weekly podcast featuring best friends James and Fuhad, who try to give honest and candid opinions on anything and everything that comes to mind.
Staying relevant – TOWIE and Made in Chelsea alumni Sam and Pete learn what it really takes to stay in the public eye today It could be anything: a botched public appearance, a brand campaign you'd rather forget about or a reality TV show you still can't get out of your head.
Socially Distant Sports Bar – Hosted by Elis James, Mike Bubbins, and Steff Garrero, this comedy & sports podcast is enjoyable even if you’re not a sports fan.
The overall winner will be announced at a ceremony at HERE, The Outernet, London on 26 September.
