On US election night, November 5th, The Rest Is Politics will host a special live event featuring real-time election results and expert analysis.
The coverage will centre around a live stream of the show and will feature Goal Hanger presenters including Alastair Campbell, Rory Stewart, Anthony Scaramucci, Marina Hyde and Dominic Sandbrook.
The broadcast will begin in the early evening and continue throughout the night, streaming exclusively on YouTube.
Hosts Campbell and Stewart will lead the coverage and be joined by their co-host of The Rest Is Politics: US , Scaramucci, who will provide them with a deep understanding of American politics, access to inside information, and an extensive network within the Republican Party.
Hyde, co-host of Rest is Entertainment and award-winning journalist for the Guardian, will also be providing additional analysis and reaction from social media throughout the evening.
Meanwhile, co-host of “The Rest Is History,” Sandbrook, will use his expertise to provide insight and historical context as he explores more than 200 years of American history throughout the show.
Goalhanger has partnered with media experience company Dizplai to bring audience interactivity and real-time data to its programming.
