“34 Fairview Road” is a new limited series podcast that explores the January 2022 death of Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe.
“Crossing the Line,” presented by M. William Phelps in association with Mom's Basement Media, is a 10-episode investigation into the arrest of O'Keefe's girlfriend, 44-year-old Karen Reed, her high-profile murder trial and the impact a blogger and free speech activist who goes by the name Turtleboy had on the case.
Also included is an exclusive story from Turtleboy's Aidan Carney (who goes from high school teacher to felon serving time in prison after exposing the perceived corruption in the Reed case), woven into a narrative that depicts the town of Canton, Massachusetts in utter chaos, divided and at war with each other.
Hosted by podcaster, author and executive producer M. William Phelps, the series is based on more than 100 hours of interviews conducted by Phelps and features exclusive audio, documents and insights from Aidan “Turtleboy” Carney, including new, never-before-heard information about the case, correspondence and conversations with Karen Reed, and exclusive interviews with two jurors.
The entire series covers the shocking series of events that took place before and after John O'Keefe was killed during the deadly blizzard that hit New England in January 2022. Turtleboy is intent on proving Karen Reed's innocence beyond a reasonable doubt.
“34 Fairview Road” will be available on all podcast platforms from Oct. 17, with new episodes releasing every Thursday night for the next nine weeks.
