Mail Metro Media's annual event, Upfront & Center, revealed its vision for the coming year, including videos, podcasts and the rollout of its social media strategy.
The event took place last night at Outernet, Tottenham Court Road, London, and was led by comedian Katherine Ryan, Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thompson and the recently launched Number One, who led the editorial and commercial teams. He was joined by Tim Lovejoy, host of the Soccer AZ podcast.
Discussions ranged from the importance of maintaining engagement and relationships with loyal readers to creating more immersive experiences to encourage further loyalty.
In an exclusive announcement, Ben Bailey announced the upcoming relaunch of the MailOnline app, with a new look and a host of interactive features including a podcast player and vertical video channels.
