The Archers Podcast goes behind the scenes of Umbridge and the issues raised in the hugely popular radio drama.
Hosted by broadcaster and Archers superfan Emma Freud, the series sees her and guests including Archers insiders and other experts share their analysis of the week's events at Umbridge. and explore the program's deep history.
Each episode features insights from the team behind The Archers, including how they put their research into the story.
Cast members reveal their experiences playing some of radio's most famous characters. Emma also invites listeners to join the conversation, giving them the opportunity to post responses to the latest stories, ask questions, and share their observations.
The show has been running for over 70 years and has over 2000 episodes. The film is known for its depiction of every aspect of country life, entertaining village gossip, flower and produce shows, and the ever-evolving agricultural business. It also covers current issues such as domestic abuse, addiction, corruption and modern slavery.
