Every week, Consumer Fight Back with Holly Hamilton tackles issues head-on and follows the stories that really matter to consumers.
No topic is too big or too small, as the team investigates everything from transportation costs and deepfakes to 'hello scams' and childcare costs.
The program is available on BBC Sounds and will also be broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster.
Holly Hamilton said: “What's important about this new program is that it's live and emotional. We're going to cover some big stories, but we want to get right to the heart of things and get answers for consumers. I'm thinking.
“But it's also about the little things in life, the very frustrating aspects of life, and we're almost learning to accept that and deal with it. And we're learning in this program, why I feel like asking the question, why should we accept the status quo?
“We want to hear from our listeners and encourage you to contact the show if you have any tips or questions about issues or experiences you may be facing.
“For example, the concept of fraud is now so ingrained in our lives that we need to spread the word so people can share their stories and warn others. We are here for you, so please contact us.”
Andy Martin, executive editor for documentaries, drama and comedy at BBC Northern Ireland, added: Hear how the team overcomes dilemmas, investigates tips, and brings the story to life.
“You'll get to see behind the scenes, understand our production process, and hear the interrogation of the laws and organizations that bring people to our attention. But it's also about subverting the usual consumer show philosophy. It also becomes.
“We also investigate troubling complaints and explain how institutions, small businesses and organizations are forced to spend time and often public money on issues they probably shouldn't have. Although the work is made in Belfast, the themes apply throughout the UK and Ireland.”
