Frank Skinner is reviving his critically acclaimed poetry podcast and reclaiming his poetic genius.
This follows Bauer Media and Absolute Radio's decision six months ago to cancel both his podcast and award-winning radio show.
Now, in partnership with Adelicious, Frank once again dives deeper into his favorite contemporary and classic works, reading excerpts, analyzing works, and presenting the best of both well-known and lesser-known poets. We analyze the poems of this week in our weekly corner.
Frank Skinner's Poetry Podcast launched in April 2020 and regularly ranks at the top of podcast charts across the country. The new series includes past and present poets and poems including Dylan Thomas, Rebecca Hawkes, Seamus Heaney, Frank O'Hara and Ruth Padel.
Commenting on his return for the 10th series, Frank said: “Making poetry podcasts is one of my deepest joys, and I've heard that thousands of people actually listen to them. I'm thrilled to be able to bring you Series 10. ”
Frank recently launched another new podcast, “Frank Off The Radio.” The podcast has two episodes each week, released on Fridays and Mondays, and reunites Frank with his trusted co-hosts, broadcaster, author, and podcaster Emily Dean, and acclaimed comedian and author Pierre Novéry. I will. The first episode, released on October 11th, won first place in the comedy category.
Frank Skinner's Poetry Podcast, produced by Avalon, will be available on all mainstream podcast platforms starting Wednesday, November 13th.
