Darlington's podcast 'Our Darling Town' has been nominated for a Stronger Communities Award.
Produced by Carver Group, the series celebrates the heart of Darlington through stories from local residents and businesses.
The nomination, in the 'Bringing Success to Darlington' category, recognizes the impact of podcasts that showcase the people and places that make Darlington special.
Each episode explores the stories behind local cafe owners, charity organizers, journalists, business owners and residents who work every day to make a difference.
Past guests have included well-known companies such as The Pasta Shop, Stable Hearth, Maggies Coffee and Kitchen, and the Arthur Wharton Foundation.
This nomination recognizes Carver Group’s commitment to showcasing Darlington’s achievements on a larger scale and helping to strengthen the town’s positive reputation within the region and beyond. The Success for Darlington Awards specifically recognize efforts to raise the city's profile through outstanding contributions to business, culture and community life.
