Season 6 tells the story of the rise of Edward III, one of England's most feared kings, a bold, ambitious, and brilliant warrior.
That's exactly what England need. But disaster soon approaches. Something is going on that no king can stand against. The Black Death has arrived and Europe will never be the same again.
First, Edward is a king in name only, so he has to deal with some serious issues. The real power lies with Queen Isabella and her domineering lover, who banish and murder Edward's father. Edward, with a fierce thirst for revenge and power, orchestrates a daring castle heist to regain the throne.
But the story doesn't end there. Edward III's ambitions would soon lead to a bloody conflict that we know today as the Hundred Years' War.
Season 6 of This Is History covers one of the most turbulent periods of the Middle Ages. It will be released on Tuesday, November 26th.
