The winners of the 2024 Audio Production Awards were announced at a gala event held at the BFI on London's South Bank on Wednesday night.
Josh Smith, host of the Reign Podcast and author of Great Chat, and radio and television broadcaster Yasmin Evans hosted APA. This APA is sponsored by Audible and hosted by AudioUK.
This year's winners include Charlie Murrell (Sony Music Entertainment), who won the Gold Award for Best Entertainment Producer, and won again for Best Ensemble Cast for his podcast “Life After Prison.” Includes Mr. Zach and Mr. Jules.
The highly competitive award for Best Factual/Documentary Producer went to Jude Shapiro (Peanuts and Crumbs) for his work on the podcast “How Much Can You Say?” About gang wars in north London.
The Sustainability and Climate Award went to Peanuts and Crumbs for Get Birding, a podcast whose mission is to increase access to nature.
Audio newcomer Daisy won Best Newcomer for her powerful story on RAW for her Audible podcast, The Second Victim: Daisy's Story, while Taqwa Sadiq (Freelance and BBC) won Gold for Best New Producer. Obtained.
Meera Kumar won Producer of the Year, Almost Tangible won Production Company of the Year and Resonance won Publisher or Network of the Year for the third consecutive year.
The AudioUK Award was presented to Nicole Logan for her outstanding achievements and contribution to the UK audio industry.
