The first episode of Kerry Washington's latest YouTube series, “Street You Grew Up On,” is now available.
Intuit QuickBooks, a financial technology platform for small businesses, has teamed up with actor, director, and producer Kelly for Season 4.
We highlight entrepreneurs, activists, and artists and discuss the people and places that helped them grow and gave them the confidence they needed to succeed in their careers and lives.
Episode 1 features a conversation with rapper, singer, and actress Queen Latifah about her childhood, community, and career path. Other confirmed guest appearances for the series include Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lee Daniels, and Aja Naomi King.
As part of this season's partnership with Intuit QuickBooks, each guest will have the opportunity to donate $10,000 to a small business that has made an impact.
Queen Latifah chose to donate these funds to Vonda's Kitchen in Newark, New Jersey, to prioritize community, give back, and teach people how to build businesses and explore through cooking. did.
The new season also includes Mentor Moments, which brings mentorship from Washington and QuickBooks to budding businesswomen to help them amplify their voices and grow their businesses.
