The Notes from a Non-Executive Director (NED) podcast explores the untold stories and hidden dynamics that influence key leadership decisions at the highest levels of corporate governance.
Moderator Samuel Kasum, a former special assistant to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, held a briefing on civil society and communities.
He has extensive senior leadership and board experience and is the founder of Inclusive Boards, an executive headhunting firm specializing in non-executive director appointments across sectors. He was a member of the Racial Disparities Audit Advisory Committee under former Prime Minister Theresa May.
The series features prominent non-executives, including Mary O'Connor, the first and only woman to lead a Big Four accounting firm. Meri Williams is currently chief technology officer at fintech company Pleo, previously held CTO roles at Monzo, Mu and M&S, and is former chair of disability charity Scope and currently works for the Financial Conduct Authority. Alice Maynard is a non-executive director.
