Master's Podcast students at City St George's, University of London, are launching a podcast highlighting the important work of the United Nations Population Fund around the world.
UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency with a mission to create a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe and every young person realizes their potential.
This podcasting initiative, in which students work closely with United Nations delegations, aims to raise awareness of important issues affecting women, girls, and youth.
Students gain hands-on experience producing high-profile podcast series and gain valuable industry experience in real-world situations.
The project is led by Brett Spencer from the University's Center for Podcasting Excellence, alongside BBC Women in Stem (BBC WiSTEM) Co-Chair Lalita Taylor and Dr Nigina Muntean from the United Nations Population Fund. Masu.
Topics may include sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls.
With support and guidance from UNFPA experts and industry leaders, City St. George's master's students will create content that will be shared on streaming channels and UNFPA and university platforms.
