New 2025 tour dates for The News Agent Live on Stage with HSBC UK have been announced by Global.
Following the success of the podcast's first live show at the Royal Albert Hall last night, Emily Maitlis, John Sopel and Louis Goodall will be heading on the road for a series of exclusive live performances in Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh in early 2025.
Live shows will take place at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Monday 17th February, Manchester Bridgewater Hall on Monday 24th February and Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Tuesday 11th March.
Emily Maitlis said: “We have been blown away by the response to our first show at the Royal Albert Hall and can't wait to perform in 2025.”
John Sopel said: “After barely surviving the pre-show jitters at the Royal Albert Hall, somehow we're ready to do it all over again in Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. I can't wait to see you!”
Lewis Goodall said: “Taking The News Agent on tour is something we've dreamed of since we launched the podcast in 2022, and following the fantastic response we received at our first live show in London, I'm delighted to be able to do this.'' In the new year I'm taking The News Agency to Manchester, Edinburgh and of course my home town of Birmingham. ”
Vicky Etchells, Global Director of Podcasts, commented: “The purpose of News Agents is to draw listeners into the conversation and share behind-the-scenes moments you don't usually hear on the news, and what better way to do it than on the news. In front!
“The News Agent Live on Stage with HSBC UK tour is set to be full of fun and surprises, with Emily, John and Lewis providing the best analysis of the biggest stories in current affairs.”
Tickets for The News Agents Live on Stage with HSBC UK go on sale to the general public from 10am tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd December, and can be purchased from Global Player.
