The new BBC Sounds in-car app lets you listen to BBC podcasts, radio and music without the need for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in some vehicles.
This new app is now available directly from the in-car entertainment system for the first time.
It will initially be introduced in selected BMW and MINI vehicles with BMW Operating System 9 or MINI Operating System 9, and will be introduced in other vehicles in the future.
Sign in to get a personalized experience that syncs your play history across devices. So if you start a podcast on your phone, you'll be able to pick up where you left off when you get in your car.
You can also rewind or pause the live radio feature to start a program from the beginning or resume after an interruption such as a phone call. Previously bookmarked music mixes from other versions of BBC Sounds will be available to you, as well as personalized recommendations for new ones based on your previous listening.

The in-car BBC Sounds app will be available in your vehicle's Appstore along with all other apps. The vehicle Appstore is only available to drivers with data services such as BMW Digital Premium or a MINI Connected Package subscription.
