The final episode of The Conversation Hat Podcast in 2024 will be a special edition looking back at the year.
Hosts Liam Taylor and Ben Pearson look back at some of their favorite moments and biggest failures from the past 12 months.
Since its inception eight years ago, the show has gradually transformed into its current form. A weekly chat show for geeks, artists, and awful people where Liam and Ben do their best to answer questions that come out of a hat in 40 minutes.
Special episode highlights include guests from throughout the year, including international comedians Riki Lindhome, Michelle Brazier and Tez Ilyas. Swampleque's Trigger Happy and music YouTuber Tantacrul.
He is also scheduled to appear as a guest on other programs. Liam and Ben appeared on the podcast 'Why This Film' and Liam was interviewed twice on BBC Sounds Essex with Rob Gerry about podcast marketing production and content marketing.
Additionally, technical mishaps occurred, such as when Ben pulled a wire and accidentally lost an episode.
By creating a regular recording schedule, the team is able to produce video content to promote the show, which has led to significant growth over the last year and which we hope to build on.
Liam says, “When starting any kind of project, especially a creative one, the only advice is to 'make it good' and 'be consistent'. But how do you actually do that? ?That was the question we wanted to answer in 2024.
“Ben moving to another city could have been a big hurdle, but it actually worked out well. Until 2024, we'll be recording whenever we have free time. From time to time. We were in a hurry and it showed in the episode.
“Now we have to choose every Monday, reserve recording space, and typically produce four to six episodes all at once.
“This gives us a consistent product that is easy to produce, and allows us to easily create video promotions by setting up the camera once a month.”
A special annual review episode of the Conversation Hat Podcast will be published on Sunday, December 29th.
