Broadcaster, entrepreneur, and endurance athlete Spencer Matthews has announced the launch of his new podcast series, Untapped.
This follows news earlier this month that he was stepping away from co-hosting the Spencer & Vogue podcast with his wife Vogue Williams.
Produced by the team behind High Performance, Untapped is a weekly series where Spencer explores human potential with guests.
Jake Quickenden will join him as co-presenter on the one-hour podcast starting Monday, January 27th, visualizing the episode, which will be available on his own YouTube channel.
Spencer said:
“Running through the Jordanian desert a few months ago was a transformative and meaningful time in my life. During that time, I had a clear moment of realization. , I can include more of my interests and passions.
“Untapped is the realization of this ambition and we invite you to join us in this new chapter, to truly discover the potential that we all have within us.”
Last year, Spencer hit news headlines around the world, winning the Guinness World Championship for the 30 Great Desert Challenge, in which 30 people run 30 marathons in 30 days through the Jordanian desert. I became the record holder.
he continued. Despite the tough circumstances, I fell in love with pushing myself even more. ”
Jake Humphrey said: His unwavering determination and infectious excitement for his accomplishments inspired so many people and proved that truly anything is possible.
“At Whisper, I'm thrilled to be embarking on an exciting television project with Spencer and, at High Performance, working with him to help us all uncover the untapped potential.” Create helpful and compelling podcasts.”
Jake Quickenden said: “I've known Spencer for nine years, and I'm one of those guys who shares his excitement. I'm not shy about running marathons, fighting in cages, and challenging myself. .
“I'm fascinated by the guests and have already learned so much. Everyone is going to blow your mind, and you're going to hear things you've never heard before.”
Alongside his podcast, Spencer creates a physical community experience for his listeners and followers. Later this year, Untapped will host a variety of events and challenges that embrace Spencer's love of running, exercising, and being the best version of himself.
Spencer continues. “Our purpose is to build a community so we can all share and be inspired by each other, where we challenge ourselves and believe in each other. The response I've had since 30/30 really shows that this community exists. It's great that I can share this passion with others. This is something I feel very strongly about.
“I'm proof that it's never too late to change your habits, rebuild your boundaries, and truly be open to your possibilities. Come on!”
Untapped focus is the reason behind Spencer's decision to step back from all other podcasts.
In November, he and Jamie Lyne announced the end of their six-part 200-episode run, returning from Spencer and Vogue in December. He also no longer records big fish episodes in order to focus and produce on the underdeveloped.
Undeveloped will be available starting next Monday, January 27th.
