Chart-topping podcaster Elizabeth Day and renowned dating and relationship coach Mel Schilling are joining forces for a new podcast.
The pair offers expert-driven insights, practical tips, and plenty of real-life wisdom for mastering the art of modern dating.
Following the success of How To Write a Book, this is the second in a series of “How To…” podcast masterclasses – The Podclass™§ – providing practical and powerful advice to listeners in a variety of subjects.
Elizabeth wanted to create a series that confronts all the mistakes with the dating world by providing practical steps for people to navigate the ever-changing landscape.
Joining her and making her debut as a podcast host is Mel Schilling, a psychologist turned television expert.
Elizabeth and Mel, both 39, met their husbands online, so they've “been there and done that.” So we have the experience to equip listeners with the skills they need to navigate romance with confidence and clarity.
Elizabeth said: “I know firsthand how difficult it is to find a true connection in modern dating. When I was a single divorcee in my late 30s trying to navigate apps, I found myself in a supportive relationship. I was hoping to have somewhere to turn to for advice and friendly expertise.
“I created a dating method to fill that need. I'm a huge fan of Mel and had a glimpse of her in her work, and I'm so happy she said yes to co-hosting.” I'm really proud of what we created.
“It was a pleasure to collaborate again with our friends at Sony. We believe this eight-week pod class will teach listeners everything they need to know about finding and keeping love with others, with themselves, and with others.” ”
Mel adds: It's so satisfying to have the opportunity to collaborate with Elizabeth (yes, I'm a fan girl) and dive deep into all the hot topics singles are dying to explore!
“We've been addressing all the burning questions that MAFS fans and my wider community have asked me constantly.
“In these episodes, I offer simple, easy-to-understand lessons and practical downloads from my 20 years as a psychologist and 10 years as a dating coach.
“Our key message? Learning how to date in an empowered and positive way creates a ripple effect and a new wave of dating experiences. And we're here for it!”
