Joe Cole and Ashley Cole's new FA Cup podcasts are a success, with the show's content recording 12 million video views in just three episodes.
The biggest complete podcast episode of soccer: Is it magic? It has been streamed over 150,000 times, and the show has also appeared on the top 20 sports podcast charts on both Apple podcasts and Spotify.
The seven-part series released by Platform Media, Dentsu, Story Lab and Carling features former England International Joe and Ashley with some players involved in the competition this season.
The eighth episode later this year will further focus on the Women's FA Cup, with top names. The series continues the themes that have been some of the biggest brands of football to date: insights, nostalgia, hilarious tales.
Joe and Ashley both have a rich history in the men's FA Cup. Joe won twice for Chelsea (2007, 2010), but Ashley has seven wins for his name. 2005) and Chelsea (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012).
The new episodes will be released on Wednesday before each round of this season's competition. In the first episode, a friend and former teammate discussed some of his favorite FA Cup memories as both fans and players.
