Dear Daughter, the award-winning BBC World Services podcast will return with new miniseries with celebrities guests including adjacent Ando, Audrey Acande, Kalkikoelin and more.
Hosted by Namulanta Kombo, this fourth season will hear more inspirational letters written by parents to their children, but this time it's all from guests who are “stars” in their field.
It includes stories of family, love, parenting, topics like becoming a professional athlete after pregnancy, how influencers navigate consent when creating content with their children, and models don't How do you teach a visible daughter?'T Matter?
The story of Namulanta is very noteworthy as he has never worked in the broadcast, but has never participated in the BBC competition looking for ideas for a new podcast. She for my dear daughter came from her decision to begin writing letters to her young daughter.
In each episode, guests read letters they write to their daughter (or son, or important young people in life) with the desire to tell advice, lessons, and stories.
Dear daughter won the Podcast of the Year at the British Podcast Awards.
Namulanta Kombo said: As a daughter and mom, I felt I was seeing and listening through the letters and voices of guests.
“It was an honor for these stories to create space for our daughters to tell the love of our daughters and the subtle lives they live in.
“This season I've spoken with amazing parents who were impressed by the fame about the advice they have for their daughters. As always, the stories are honest, sincerely, and sometimes scary. Yes, I can't wait for you to tune!”
Dear Daughter's First Episode: Star will be available on February 28th, with new episodes being released weekly on all podcast platforms, with visualized episodes released on YouTube. Season 5 continues in May.
