Comedian and author Michelle Wolf is adding a live streaming extension to her new podcast thought box.
The live version of the podcast will be held at 6pm on February 27th at La Raietana Culture for the first time to live audiences, and will only start live streaming on the Punch Up platform.
Shortly afterwards, the video will be available on demand only on Punch Up, with audio available for download on all major podcast services.
As someone who doesn't like podcasts, Michelle brings her thought box as close to stand-up as possible, recording the podcast in front of a live audience, allowing her to perform both weekly written topics and topic jokes.
This expansion allows viewers to live stream podcasts, allowing them to watch jokes succeed or fail from anywhere in the world.
Michelle Wolf said: “My main goal with this podcast is to bring something fresh and unique to the table.
“We record in front of a live audience and stream it, giving them the opportunity to see the show live and catching the streams that follow.
“I've always hesitated to do podcasts because I wanted to focus on stand-up, but I realized that if I were going to give it a try, I wanted to make it as close to stand-up as possible. So every week I write jokes that are hot topics, jokes about what happened to me, and even jokes based on suggestions from listeners.
“It's a podcast, but it's about feeling like I'm on a brand new stand-up show every week. And yes, that means I write a lot of jokes, because I can Because we promise to make it as fresh and interesting as possible.”
