Comic Relief will launch its first podcast in collaboration with Amazon Music. This is my party hosted by comedian Catherine Bo Hart.
With comic relief celebrating this year's 40th birthday and Red Nose Day celebrated in just two weeks, the celebration begins with a new 12-Episode Weekly podcast.
The series features celebrities planning the perfect birthday party, sharing everything from dream guest lists to party playlists, dress codes, themes and even snack selections.
Guests on the show include Nisch Kumar, Kiri Pritchard MacLean, Renee Henry, Gabriel and Jameela Jamil. The first episode features the iconic duo of “Help I Sex with a Boss” podcast, Jordan North and William Hanson.
The amount received by comic relief via advertising revenue will help support families affected by conflicts in the UK and around the world.
Catherine Bohart said: I love guests, I love parties, I love talking about the parties, strategies, plans, rules, themes, etc.
“Comic relief was a very important part of my childhood. I have such clear memories of a TV night that gives me a new perspective on such important things, but at the same time it's full of joy, so being part of this year makes sense and really feels special.
“That also means being really nosy with celebrities in the name of comic relief, so that's fine!”
Samir Patel, CEO of Comic Relief, added:
“This fun new podcast gives listeners the opportunity to get behind the scenes to see the ultimate celebrity party plans.
We are proud to bring people together through laughter and celebrations. We hope this series will help everyone feel better while supporting our mission to make a real difference. ”
My party is always produced by audio, and is now available on Amazon Music, with podcasts available every week starting Wednesday, March 12th.
