The official Big Bang Theory Podcast dedicated to the iconic TV sitcom was released by Max in collaboration with Warner Bros.
The bestselling author of Host and Executive Big Bang Theory, produced by Jessica Radroff of the New York Times: the definitive inside story of the epic hit series, the podcast analyzes and explores all episodes that begin with seasons 1 and 2 of the cast and crew who contributed to the creation of the series.
The TV show first aired in 2007 and was the world's number one comedy when it finished its 12-season run in 2019, a successful 279 episodes, as the longest-running multi-camera series in television history.
The podcast episodes provide details about the behind-the-scenes secrets, previously unprecedented stories, and the creative processes and decision-making that have made each episode come true.
Guests include director James Burrows and cast members Kunal Nayer, Kevin Sussman and John Ross Bowie.
The first episode features a special view of the inbearable pilot with co-producer Chuck Roll and former Warner Bros television group president Peter Ross. Other guests include Sara Gilbert, Christine Baransky, Verney Watson, and Sarahlu.
Episode 2 was heard from James Burrows, the legendary director of Big Bang Theory Pilot. James, who directed iconic sitcoms such as “Cheers,” “Fraser,” and “Friends,” reflects cast changes between the first and second pilots, the importance of the sperm bank scene, and the memorable staircase and car scenes.
Burrows also shares insights into the chemistry of the cast and the success and legacy of the show. Additionally, James sees Chuck Roll while filming and reveals the moment when he knows he's “right.”
