Based at Birmingham City University, West Midlands Unipodfest is returning to his third year.
The theme of this year, which will be held on Friday, April 4th, is podcast women, which reflects the current gap in gender equity at the top of the UK podcast.
Many women in UK podcasting will be guests on Amazon, The BBC, The Radio Academy, Spotify Soundup, and independent audio productions.
The event celebrates its diversity podcasting with expert-led panel discussions, workshops and special guest headline podcasters Kelechiocafor.
Unipodfest's aim is to inspire next-generation and regional-based podcasters, and to convey many necessary audio skills to student creators, while also expanding advanced podcasters, and bridge the gap between the university and the UK podcasts and the audio content industry.
