International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences has announced the candidates for the 29th Webby Awards.
The award celebrates excellence on the internet and recognizes the creative pioneering, brand and character that drives cultural and technological innovation.
All candidates are eligible to win two of the most prestigious awards in the internet industry. The Academy's Webby Awards are selected and the Webby People's Voice Awards voted in the online community.

The Webby Awards also continue to see record growth in podcast submissions, making it one of the largest and most prestigious and highly competitive awards in the industry.
This year's candidates include hit podcasts such as Dax Shepard, The Lonely Island, Seth Meyers Podcasts, and Baby's Armchair Expert. News and politics podcasts such as Adam Grant and The Next Wave, Katie Couric, Pod Save America, and Today's Next Questions, and Podcasts that will elevate diverse voices like Accessibility Accelerators: Podcasts, Podcasts, National Immigration Law Center: Freedom to Prosper, Sam Smith and Prosper, and Reclaim Navajonation's Life.
Webby Podcast Company of the Year Achievement recognizes the organization with the most overall nominations and victories in the overall podcast category. Competing organizations include Audible (14), SiriusXM (10), Windery (9), and IheartMedia (8).
Winners of the 29th Annual Webby Awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 22nd. Fans will be able to see special moments from all winners on May 12th, as well as special five-word speeches from all winners across social media.
