The first podcast as part of Christiane Amanpour's major new deal with Global will be Christiane Amanpour Presents: The Ex Files with Jamie Rubin.
Christians are two people who have seen the world today by her ex-husband, former US diplomat, secretary of state, Jamie Rubin, and lived a critical moment from a reporting and government perspective.
Talked out of the sensitivities of 20 years of marriage and subsequent divorce, the series explores the biggest issues of the day and the historical moments that shaped them.
The topics are all explored through living history on the other side, from Donald Trump's inauguration, the escalation of the global economic crisis, the war in Gaza and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
There are stories throughout the series that have never been told before. That is, from diplomatic back annells to editorial conflicts and deep personal moments. In addition to outspoken political debate, there is humor, insight and an incredible common foundation.
