LGBTQ+ radio station Gaydio was awarded the B2C at the Campaign Audio Advertising Award 2025.
The award was for the station's partnership with BA Euroflyer on the European podcast Gaydio.
Hosted by Gaydio's Luis Wyatt, Chris Blackmore and Helen Scott and produced in collaboration with Ba Euroflyer, a Gatwick-based subsidiary of British Airways, the series explored LGBTQ+ culture and European experiences, highlighting lesser-known destinations.
The goal was to enter the skin of your destination from the perspective of an LGBTQ+ traveler and to light up the spotlight of any location you may have gone under the radar.
The judges praised the podcast's strong targeting, engaging content and seamless brand integration that felt authentic. The collaboration between Gaydio and British Airways was recognized for its creativity, execution and outstanding results, and the judges called it an exemplary branded content series.
“We're committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Brett Harris, Head of Marketing and Partnerships at Gaydio.
“European Gaidio with British Airways exemplifies how brands and media platforms can work together to create meaningful, authentic content.
“This project reflects Gaidio's continued commitment to representing our community by celebrating the strange, friendly travel experiences and destinations in Europe.
“In an age where LGBTQ+ rights are threatened around the world, it was a joy to work with Ba Euroflyer and British Airways, who share their commitment to accessibility and acceptance.”
