Liam Robinson and Antonia Digby have been hired as sales directors for their agency to lead the growing sales division on independent podcast hosting platform Adelicious.
Liam has over 10 years of experience in advertising sales, including nearly five years specialized in podcasts.
He previously worked for Athletic, Acast and Octave, where he operated a wide range of shows across multiple genres.
In his new role, Liam will be responsible for leading relationships with both the group and independent media agents, focusing on enhancing brand visibility in Adelisic's portfolio.
“After working with Adelious for many years, it's no surprise to see them grow in such a competitive field,” Liam Robinson said. “I'm really excited to get stuck and make an impact.”
Antonia has recently experience as content director for Wavemaker, both in both audio and agency partnerships. She previously took on roles at Absolute Radio and Global Radio. At Adelious, she will focus on helping brands maximize creative and commercial opportunities within the podcasting field.
Antonia said: “I have spent partnerships both in the radio and agency worlds, so I have seen how powerful audio is when it comes to connecting audiences.
“There has been a huge change in the way brands approach podcast ads lately, and it has been exciting to help guide that journey.
“We're happy to be part of the Adelioot team now. It's the perfect time to join the podcast space and we look forward to ensuring more brands can take advantage of that potential.”
Gemma O'Brien, sales manager at Adelious, added: “Antonia and Liam are great additions to our team. They both have extensive experience, but also have a clear passion for audio and a deep understanding of how to connect brands with their audiences.
“Their expertise will help Adelisic continue to grow and build over the years, providing real value to advertisers and creators alike.”
The two new recruits form part of the wider expansion period at Adelious. Other recent additions include Katie Wilson, who joined as Project Manager and Harriet Skillington as a planner, reflecting the ongoing investments of the entire business along size.
