BBC1's Morning Live GP Dr. Oscar Duke has launched Bedside Manners, a brand new podcast series produced by Pixiu.
The weekly series explores what happens when life and drugs collide. Each episode watches Oscar talk with his guests about the health challenges he faced, from his chronic conditions and everyday struggles to massive surgeries, and how those experiences have shaped his life and career.
Guests also reflect on memorable encounters with medical professionals and discuss good, bad and surprising things.
Top health professionals will give you insight into the science behind each guest's condition, break myths and answer general questions.
Each episode ends with an HCA Healthcare consultant joining Oscar and further examining the guests' medical experience.

Born with arbinopathy and severely registered visual impairment at birth, Oscar was once said to have a medical career out of reach. Currently a GP, author and television physician, he draws on both his health system expertise and personal experience.
Oscar began his 24-hour broadcast career with A&E and advanced to documentaries that took the forefront of BBC2, including Too White Born. He also appeared on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
