BBC Scotland is releasing a new podcast with Sophie and Christine, hosted by bestselling author Sophie Gravure and television personality Christine McGuinness.
The podcast explores the challenges of dating dilemma, personal relationships and modern romance.
The real-life story is presented, as well as honest conversations from the host about their own experiences. Each episode also includes advice and opinions from the audience.
Known for his popular novels and blog sex in Glasgow City, Sophie Gravure brings her background as a writer and as an NHS nurse to the podcast. Christine McGuinness recently announced the BBC One Documentary Uncking My Autism, which offers a personal perspective on dating, parenting and navigating.
Sophie said: “Frontifying this podcast with Christine is an absolute dream. Just like with girls nights, the topic is off limits and we are the first to jump into comedy, chaos, and sometimes really dating nagging.
“We can't wait to chat together our own outrageous stories and, of course, hear the date dilemma sent by our listeners.”
Christine added: “I'm so excited to host this podcast with Sophie. It's authentic, raw, and most importantly, no judgment. I'll chat about love, relationships and everything in between.”
The show was commissioned by BBC Scotland's Heather Kainderlin. He states:
“Sophie and Christine are the perfect duo to take viewers through relationships and dates highs and lows. Everyone is welcome in club situations!”
The series is fully visualized and available on June 19th on BBC Sounds, BBC Scotland and BBC Iplayer.
