The Women Podcasters Network has announced the winners of this year's Women Podcasters Awards.
In its second year, the community-driven awards highlight the range of podcasts hosted by women from all genres, from business and science to wellness to storytelling.
The winners were selected through a system of people's choices to vote for listeners and fellow podcasters to recognize the talent and impact of female voices around the world.
This year's ceremony was hosted by women from the Women Podcasters Awards founders Jennifer Henczel, Women Podcasters Network and Podcasting Show.
Jennifer is the driving force behind amplifying and supporting female creators, describing the event as a celebration of the power of connections, community and shared experiences.
She said: “These awards are about lifting up each other and showing what is possible when women are heard. We are building a support network where everyone can grow and grow together.”
As more women than ever have launched, produced and grown successful shows, the award reflects the increased influence and diversity in the podcasting industry.
The categories ranged from the best new shows to storytelling excellence, and were especially aware of shows that showcased the inclusiveness and underrated voice of the champion.
