Alex Duncan has joined the global side of the British Heart Foundation and has earned the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Previously, at the British Heart Foundation, Alex worked as Chief Technology Officer since 2022, leading a team of over 350 people, focusing on how AI can enhance the impact of charity and mission.
Prior to joining the British Heart Foundation, he was CTO of Ambassador Theater Group and previously served as director of QVC for International Shopping Channel. She also headed online development at LastMinute.com and began her career as a software engineer.
Alex will be taking part in globally this September, becoming a member of the company's board of directors and reporting directly to group CEO Simon Pitts.
She oversees Global's 200-person powerful technology team, covering broadcast engineering, commercial and advertising technology, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, analytics and enterprise systems.
