LBC presenter Vanessa Feltz is working with her daughter, child therapist and author Saskia Joss to launch a new global original podcast.
This series is designed to help parents tackle the challenges of childhood anxiety.
Help! My child's anxiety provides practical advice and conversation for parents, caregivers and grandparents.
Each week, Vanessa and Saskia use their personal and professional experiences to discuss common family struggles, from sibling rivalries to dealing with panic attacks and teenage ups and downs.
It also covers related news and policy updates that may affect families.
The podcast reveals that a new Ipsos study reveals that more than one in four children between the ages of 4 and 17 say their children experienced anxiety or panic attacks last year.
Saskia, who wrote my child's anxiety, says it's giving me anxiety, and the podcast says it's breaking the cycle of family anxiety with reliable tools and support for parents who often feel overwhelmed.
Vanessa says listeners can expect trademark warmth, humor and honest reflection, both as single mothers and grandmothers.
She said:
“We share the stories of our own relationships, along with tips and tools, bringing perspectives from two different generations to endure child anxiety.
Saskia added: “It's a real privilege to work with my iconic mom to make these conversations come true and I look forward to it when I'm working to share what we've learned and make things a little better for all my families.”
New Episodes in Help! My Child's Anxiety is released every week from June 26th on global players and all major podcast platforms.
