Multichannel retailer and TV shopping pioneer QVC UK has launched a new podcast titled The Joy of Shopping.
Customers will be entertained and inspired by shopping anecdotes from celebrities such as Dannii Minogue and Tess Daly as they head into the biggest Christmas on the calendar for retailers.
Mike Tremaine, Vice President of QVC Commerce Platform, commented:
“We are already known for bringing the human element to shopping, and with expert demos and product displays available on both TV and digital platforms, it was natural for podcasts to play a role for us. I thought it was a field.”
The first season covers topics such as trends, fashion, gardening and decorating, with first episode star Dannii Minogue revealing that “skinny jeans will never go out of style” and her sister being the hardest person to buy a present for. He revealed. Because (“She has it all!”).
Hosted by TV presenter and lifestyle content creator Farrah Sutter, other guests scheduled for the series include Tess Daly, Sarah Davies and Angela Scanlon.
The Joy of Shopping launches today, Thursday, October 3, with 45-minute episodes available on YouTube, Spotify, and all other podcast platforms.
