The Sense of Space podcast takes architects and designers on a journey to help the community understand the nuances of designing for the built environment.
Launching on the SURROUND Podcast Network, Sense of Space is hosted by Ella Hazard and Faraz Shah, who ask questions and have conversations as they explore everything we touch as designers, architects, and people. .
In the first episode, we meet the hosts to find out who they are. Faraz and Ella share their background, experiences, and dreams about Sense of Space.
Additionally, the episode asks questions such as:
What are the elements of a vibe, is it something we can curate or is it best to occur organically? Does nature design things? Carolyn Noble joins Faraz and Ella to discuss the relationship between natural and built environments. Is the design for everyone? A conversation about our own educational experiences and the values and priorities of the next generation of designers. Sound defines space and can define what lies beyond sight in an architectural environment. Do buildings have a soul, and does it start with the architecture, or with the people and activities that bring the space to life?
