True crime podcast show 'The Con on International Fraud Stories' launches a new six-part series 'Kaitlyn's Baby' from BBC World Service and CBC.
Caitlin, a young pregnant woman on the brink, experiences a series of disasters including rape, loss of her baby, and even a coma, taking dozens of birth workers with her.
One by one, they struggle to support her, grieve with her, and even save her life, leading her down a devastating path. And the truth comes out, it's all a lie.
“The Con: Kaitlyn's Baby” is hosted by Canadian writer and producer Sarah Treleaven. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems and questions arise. Who is Caitlin Brown and what is the truth behind her web of lies?
Such cases baffle the legal profession and raise complex moral and ethical questions. What led Caitlin, a promising young social worker, down this path? Can she take responsibility for her actions?
All six episodes of Caitlin's Baby will be available as a box set on BBC Sounds from Tuesday 14th January. Episodes are released weekly on most other podcast apps and platforms.
