Beaverton, a Canadian satirical news site, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year with the podcast's return.
Beaverton, which began as a news satire and parody publication in 2010, has become a viral machine that sends absurd things to politics, pop culture and everything about current events.
“We're a great place to go,” said Luke Gordon Field, editor-in-chief of Beaverton. “Surviving this in the cruelly tough digital media industry is the result of a writer's brilliance, the loyalty of his fans, and the fact that he was able to admit that he was only able to trust the deal with the hooded strangers I met overnight and suspected he was completely unhuman.
“We may have been an unintended nonprofit for the past 15 years, but with the support of our readers and Patreon subscribers, we can continue to jerk the right people chewing on the site and the new podcast.”
The Beaverton Weekly Report Podcast gives you a hilarious look at what's going on in the world. Every Wednesday, Luke Gordonfield assembles a comedian's All-Star panel to tell the news of the week, laugh and riff.
Their news knowledge will then be tested in a very important quiz that cannot lower interest!
The podcast includes fan favorite authors such as Ian Macintyre, Clare Blackwood, Nile Seguin, and Surpress Special Guests. Patreon members receive exclusive stories from all podcast episodes.
The Beaverton Weekly Report Podcast will be released on March 19th. Available where you can get the podcast
