This interview is dedicated to the memory of Alan Richardson, who passed away suddenly and tragically on 27 July 2021, aged 65. He was much loved and greatly missed by all his family and many friends.
of Channel Islands It is an archipelago located in the English Channel off the coast of French Normandy. Isle of Man is located in the Irish Sea. Although these islands form part of the British Isles geographically, each functions more or less as its own independent country.
The Channel Islands consist of the Doctrine of Jersey and the Doctrine of Guernsey (the latter including all the inhabited Channel Islands other than Jersey). Although they are often referred to together, they are two separate jurisdictions, with Alderney and Sark having a large degree of autonomy from Guernsey. Governed outside of British structure, the islands have been administered separately from the Kingdom of England since the late 13th century, with their highest political and judicial oversight exercised by the Privy Council rather than the British Parliament or courts.
The main language in the Channel Islands is English, however Norman French was historically spoken and is still the legal language of the islands. Historically the main language in the Isle of Man was Manx. The Channel Islands have had a special relationship with the Crown since Norman times, but the Isle of Man only gained this relationship in 1765.
The administrative divisions of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man are Crown Vassal:
The King's personal representative is the Lieutenant Governor, who is appointed by the King on the advice of the provincial representatives and is delegated the power to give Royal Assent to laws dealing with domestic affairs.
In addition to appointing the Lieutenant Governor, the King Enforcement Officer Preside over—and Censor—The Channel Islands hold Legislative Assembly, but the Isle of Man does not.
Many of us who have never visited the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man often assume that these islands are for the wealthy. As well-known corporate tax havens, Jersey in particular is the 7th most tax-intensive island in the world, while Guernsey is 15th and the Isle of Man 17th. But what is life really like for a British passport holder trapped on a small island with minimal services and no recourse to Westminster or the UK public services? With the cost of living beyond most islanders' reach, more and more Jersey, Guernsey and Manx natives are choosing to leave their homeland and emigrate to the UK. Their island dreams have turned into a nightmare.
Director of Public Health Jersey Professor Peter Bradley He reassured islanders that there have been “no confirmed” deaths from COVID-19 jabs in the Channel Islands and there is no need to worry. Yellow Card Systemis run by the MHRA in the UK (outside Jersey's jurisdiction).
In this interview, Debi Evans speaks to Danny Hervé, who runs an organisation in Jersey for vaccine injured and bereaved people. BibujiDani herself has lost family members to vaccination-related deaths: her father, Alan Richardson, had been previously healthy and fit but “died suddenly” after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at the age of 65. Since then, Dani has been fighting for the many vaccination-related injuries and deaths in the Channel Islands who have been ignored at home and invisible to the world.
What is life like in the Crown Dependencies? How many islanders are suffering? Vaccine InjuryHow many vaccine-related deaths have there been in each of the islands? The devil is in the details. And surprisingly, people living in Crown Dependencies No Access One-off Vaccine damage compensation This is available to UK residents (which is a small amount in itself, as we've covered in our previous UK column).
Ignored and invisible until now, the members of VIBJSY are desperate to make their plight known to the world. prime minister Despite calls for Jersey to acknowledge the harms of vaccines, the organisation continues to struggle to make its voice heard. How did Jerseyans react to the announcement of the Jersey Independent Covid-19 Inquiry? High expectations?
