Journalist Taylor Hudak interviewed Professor Burkhart in his laboratory in Reutlingen, Germany, shortly before his death in May 2023. Professor Burkhart detailed some of his findings and shared with us the testing methods he uses, as well as his views on the public health industry, academia and medicine, and his motivations for undertaking this research.
