It is with great sadness that we share the news that Mrs. Elizabeth Beckett has passed away after a battle with leukemia. Elizabeth was the daughter of a High Court judge. The fact that she was able to successfully strike the final blow across the ever-dwindling bow of national sovereignty speaks volumes about her steadfastness.
When she discovers that her council tax bill is being used as a means to extract money from her (and all other residents of this country) for regional councils influenced by the European Union, she The attack began. She used her in-depth knowledge of the British Constitution to take legal stand as a woman against her local Eden District Council, refusing to pay council tax despite being threatened with bankruptcy. . Elizabeth filed four lawsuits against the government, alleging constitutional erosion, breach of contract, breach of trust, treason, and legal fraud. She also issued an injunction against Prime Minister Gordon Brown for treason against the British people.
In 2007, Namaste Magazine launched a successful fundraising campaign to save her from bankruptcy. This funding enabled her to begin the process of appealing to the High Court. While working with her, she became our future Boudicca. Elizabeth's depth of constitutional knowledge, coupled with her courage and unwavering determination to protect our country and its people from the loss of British sovereignty against the relentlessly encroaching totalitarian power of the EU, is a testament to her uniqueness.
It was a pleasure to know and work with her. Dear Elizabeth, thank you for your hard work. You will be very sad.
